Westy Fest

Activities:
The pumpkin patch is located at the lake pavilion. Pumpkins vary in sizes and prices. Cash and credit cards are accepted. There is a free pumpkin valet and shuttle so you can check your pumpkin while you enjoy the rest of the festival.

In 2026, the United States will mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. At the same time, Colorado will mark the 150th anniversary of our entrance into the Union. As the Centennial State, Colorado is the only one who will observe twin anniversaries. In Westminster, we will be celebrating the 115th anniversary of becoming a city – our crystal centennial! To commemorate this historic event Westy Fest will have a special drone show. The show will begin at approximately 7:45 pm and is dependent on the weather.

Children can win prizes at 30 free carnival games!

There are currently 6 hot air balloons scheduled.
The balloons arrive at 4:30 p.m. and are inflated at approximately 5:45 p.m.
The hot air balloons are weather dependent--they cannot be inflated if the wind speed is more than 5 MPH. The pilots monitor this throughout the event, so if they are not inflated, it's because it is too windy. During this time they will still torch the flames (candle-sticking). As soon as it is safe to do so they will inflate.
